THEME: Prairie Civilization in Urban Development

PAVILION: The Pavilion depicts a prairie civilization in urban development and manifests various elements of prairie culture with unique exhibit items.

EXHIBIT: The floor consisting of three kinds of sand manifests the Inner Mongolian people’s wisdom; the contrast between the earliest nomadic habitation and modern cities shows the course of prairie city development in history. The huge tree of quicksand implies environmental changes and expresses the ideal of turning deserts into oases. Visitors can also have a virtual prairie journey on mountain bikes.
