Fujian Pavilion

THEME: Charming Fujian Province on the West Bank of the Strait

PAVILION: The Pavilion will resemble the prow of a ship in green, blue and white. Inspired by the architectural idea of “The Sea Melted Into the Sky,” the Pavilion will offer a close-up view of the province’s landscape, culture and performances.

EXHIBIT: The exhibition will feature a 3.23-meter high statue made of jade from Myanmar. It will be on display alongside screens spotlighting typical landscapes of Fujian, including Wuyi Mountain and Gulangyu Islet. Other treasures on display will be the Peony Vase, Shoushan Stone and Dehua Porcelain. Visitors will also learn about tea culture, porcelain and lacquerware while tales of Fujian’s culture and history will be unfolded through performances. These will include puppet shows and Nanyin music, a traditional opera sung in the Minnan (south Fujian) dialect.

CUISINE: There is no dining area listed for the Pavilion.

SHOPPING: There is no specific shopping facility listed for the Pavilion.
