Chongqing Pavilion

Chongqing Pavilion

THEME: Mountains and Forest City

PAVILION: The shape of the Pavilion borrows the elements of Kuimen and steep mountains, highlighting the pattern of a “mountain city surrounded by two rivers.”

EXHIBIT: The three exhibition sections and the two interaction areas interpret the city’s changes by presenting the city’s footprint of ecological, cultural and urban development. The Pavilion shows Chongqing’s new mode of economic growth and vision of the mountains and forest city system from aspects of Habitable Chongqing, Forest Chongqing and Healthy Chongqing. A 4D movie will allow visitors to experience virtual golf in a mountain setting, drive a new energy-efficient motorcycle and other thrilling activities. The landscape of Chongqing is displayed via a large model made of crystal. The traditional Chongqing hot pot dish will make a virtual interactive appearance as well, with visitors able to stir the hot pot and await it to finish cooking its yummy contents.

CUISINE: There is no dining area listed for the Pavilion.

SHOPPING: There is no specific shopping facility listed for the Pavilion.
