Turkmenistan Pavilion

THEME: Oil Realizes Our Dream

PAVILION: The design of the Turkmenistan Pavilion is based on a grid pattern. It uses yellowish brown and light grey for its interior.

EXHIBIT: Natural landscapes and geographical features of this central Asian country are showcased with exhibits and multimedia. Short videos not only present the abundant tourist resources of Turkmenistan but also stories of the famous local Ferghana horses. Visitors can also learn about the nomadic culture through infrared touch screens. Jewelry, antiques and the exquisite craftsmanship of carpet making are also displayed using high-tech means. Visitors enter the Pavilion in front of maps of Turkmenistan and examples of our world-famous carpets. The entryway opens up into the main exhibition gallery where an exhibit on Kurdiu and statues of our horses show the grandeur of ancient Turkmenistan. Other exhibits show off our modern oil refining processes, five-star resorts on the Caspian Sea, archaeological finds and the export of finished goods from Turkmenistan with our trading partners.

CUISINE: There is no dining area listed for the Pavilion.

SHOPPING: At the State Publishing stand inside the exhibition, books and pamphlets about the various aspects of Turkmenistan from tourism to business investment are available.
