THEME: Yemen: Art and Civilization
PAVILION: The Pavilion presents Yemen’s major achievements in culture, tourism, science and other sectors, stressing the importance of economy and trade in urban development.
EXHIBIT: Multiple means are used to display the country’s experience in industrial development drawn from experiences both at home and abroad, adapted practices in various trades on the basis of specific local conditions and its economic and trade prospect. A city model exhibition brings scenes of modern Yemen; posters in Arabic, Chinese and English introduce historic cities, renovated villages and natural landscapes of the country. Yemeni drummers and dancers perform periodically in the Pavilion’s open space.
CUISINE: There is no dining area listed for the Pavilion.
SHOPPING: Handicrafts and industrial products are sold in the Pavilion shop near the exit.
