EXHIBIT: Bishkek, though highly industrial, is a livable city with large green areas. Movies, posters, slides, exhibits and cultural activities in the Pavilion introduce the country’s culture, history and customs and the harmonious development of economy, culture and tourism in Bishkek. Unlike most of the Pavilions at Expo, the Kyrgyzstan Pavilion will be circular, giving a less structured feel to the exhibition. At the center is a display of ancient stone figures, representing the antiquities and glorious past of Kyrgyzstan. At the entrance of the Pavilion is a small yurt, displaying for visitors a typical home for nomadic Kyrgyzstanis. At the opposite end of the Pavilion is a display of stone with a working waterfall, depicting the natural beauty of the region. High-definition video screens are spaced around the dome, while video display stations inform and entertain visitors at ground level.

CUISINE: There is no dining area listed for the Pavilion.

SHOPPING: There is a gift shop at the front of the Pavilion near the entrance.

Note: This Pavilion is located in the Asia Joint Pavilion I
