World Water Council Pavilion

THEME: Water for Life and Development

PAVILION: The Pavilion focuses on the role of water in creating better cities for a better life and showcases successful and innovative ways of water management. A waterfall in the front of the Pavilion provides a dynamic focus for the Pavilion’s theme and the organization’s mission.

EXHIBIT: A Kid’s Corner invites children to learn about water through hands-on activities, providing information on challenges and solutions involving water and its role in our lives and their future. Exhibits trace the life of a river from its source to the sea. The exhibition focuses on challenges that various regions around the world are facing, such as natural disasters, the Millennium Development Goals, financing for water management and climate change brought on by global warming. A waterfall display illustrates the natural beauty that water provides. The Pavilion will focus on a different region of the world each month, as well as a different challenge.

CUISINE: There is no dining area listed for the Pavilion.

SHOPPING: There is no specific shopping area listed for the Pavilion.

Note: This Paviliion is located in the International Organization Joint Pavilion.
