EXHIBIT: Visitors will begin their journey into Lesotho through a traditional hut, whose walls will be made of traditional stone and clay, and whose roof will be covered with thatch. A couple, dressed in traditional Lesotho costumes, will greet visitors in English and Chinese. On the walls of the hut will be video displays introducing visitors to the architecture and charm of Maseru, Lesotho’s capital city, and to the culture of Lesotho’s indigenous Basotho people. Traditional local art decorates the cottage. The second exhibition gallery, Central Plaza, will be an introduction to urban life in Lesotho and will display the history and culture of our nation. Visitors will also get a glimpse at our beautiful mountain landscape.
