Madagascar Pavilion

THEME: Living Naturally: Diversified Ecology-Culture-Development-Tourism

PAVILION: The front of the Pavilion is a representation of a colonial-style two story building while the rear and sides of the Pavilion depict the natural beauty of the world’s fourth-largest island.

Madagascar Pavilion

EXHIBIT: The Pavilion has two areas; the front which depicts the urban environment of Madagascar, and the main part of the Pavilion which exhibits the rare plant and animal life that make this island unique. A cluster of trees, waterfalls and mountains give the visitor the impression of walking in the natural environment of Madagascar. Along the sides of the Pavilion are exhibits on silk weaving, of interest to China as one of the great silk producing nations on Earth, as well as exhibits on shipbuilding and gemstones, both major industries in Madagascar.

CUISINE: There is no dining area listed for the Pavilion.

SHOPPING: At the bazaar on the side of the Pavilion, rare gems will be made available for sale.

Note: This Pavilion is located in the Africa Joint Pavilion.
