THEME: A Smart Choice for a Better Life
PAVILION: The Pavilion is a representation of Malawi’s natural wonders, with golden beaches, blue skies and clear lakes dominating the landscape.
EXHIBIT: The Pavilion has two areas; the first is the Original Ecology of Malawi, which looks at the abundant natural beauty of the nation. Particular attention is paid to Lake Malawi Park, a World Heritage Site and said to be the most beautiful lake in Africa, and one of the most beautiful in the world. Traditional Malawi handicrafts are on display in this section. The next is Modern Civilization in Malawi, which highlights the four cities of Lilongwe, Blantyre, Zomba and Mzuzu. The exhibit is meant to express the challenges in preserving the culture while improving the urban living conditions. A large screen in the rear displays scenes of Malawi’s urban and natural environments for all to see.
CUISINE: There is no dining area listed for the Pavilion.
SHOPPING: There is no specific shopping facility listed for the Pavilion.
