Estonia Pavilion

THEME: Innovation City of Science and Technology

PAVILION: The Pavilion will be instantly recognizable with the shawl-like patterns that cover the façade. Each pattern is native to Estonia, and will be so colorful that the eye will be immediately drawn to it.

Estonia Pavilion

EXHIBIT: The Pavilion is one large room, with wooden stairs ascending to the second floor at a gentle slope, giving visitors a place to rest and relax throughout the Pavilion. The Pavilion is dotted with giant piggy banks, each one corresponding to a different urban challenge from parking spaces to noise pollution. Visitors are invited to add suggestions to the piggy banks, the results of which will be posted to the Pavilion’s online site, savecity.org. A large screen dominates the rear of the Pavilion, on which short films highlighting the culture and scenery of Estonia. In the evenings, visitors will be able to participate in choral karaoke in which they will be able to sing along with world-famous Estonian choral groups in songs in Estonian, English and Chinese. The results will be recorded and uploaded to the website where they may be downloaded a week later.

CUISINE: There is no dining area listed for the Pavilion.

SHOPPING: There is no specific shopping facility listed for the Pavilion.
