THEME: Malta: 7000 Years – A Life Center
PAVILION: The Pavilion juxtaposes the modern and the ancient, using artwork and modern technology.
EXHIBIT: The Pavilion is divided into several areas. In the main exhibition gallery, photos and statues show Malta’s colorful past and present, from Neolithic times to modern. In the interactive zone, touchscreens will allow visitors to retrieve information about Malta, while headsets will allow them to hear the audio portion without disturbing other visitors or being disturbed by them. A high-tech auditorium will show videos on the culture and landscapes of Malta; a Perspex mirror ceiling will provide an illusion of greater depth, while special lighting and audio will create a dazzling audio visual experience for the visitor.
CUISINE: Café Jubilee is a bar in the main exhibition area that will serve coffees and beverages popular in Malta.
SHOPPING: There is no specific shopping facility listed for the Pavilion.
Note: This Pavilion is located in the Joint Europe Pavilion I
