THEME: Transforming Our Communities for a Better Life
PAVILION: The House of Stone, a feature recently excavated in Great Zimbabwe Ruins, will be the motif for the entire Pavilion.
EXHIBIT: The Pavilion has several key points that visitors will want to examine for themselves. The Zimbabwe Bird is a symbol for Zimbabwe, a regular occurring feature in the ancient civilization of Zimbabwe – which is the only nation on Earth named for an archaeological site – and some of the most advanced stone carvings in the world. The mysterious Stone City captures the romance and mystery of these ruins and gives visitors a peek into Zimbabwe’s intriguing past. Finally, the Great Victoria Falls covers a wall, using clever lighting effects to give the visitor a sense of standing before this majestic natural site.
CUISINE: There is no dining area listed for the Pavilion.
SHOPPING: There is no specific shopping facility listed for the Pavilion.
Note: This Pavilion was located in the Africa Joint Pavilion.
